Job Description
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILTIES
Responsible for the execution of territory sales plan and deliver revenue targets through effective management of the Internal Sales Team. Develop and implement processes to underpin Internal Sales functions and call centres working with Group and Business Unit (BU) Functions.
2. MAIN FUNCTION
- Strategically drive revenue targets for Caterpillar equipment and product parts in Nigeria
- Regularly review sales pipeline of salesmen and ensure maximum conversion of opportunities to sales
- Drive CRM adoption and champion change management
- Use analytics from salesforce CRM to gain insights and drive sales process optimization
- Prepare and present regular sales forecast to top management
- Regularly review work processes and methods to align with best practices
- Manage marketing campaigns by engaging inactive customers to drive customer loyalty and retention
- Regularly develop initiatives to motivate salesmen to improve sales and productivity
- Ensure all Caterpillar products enquiries via email, internet and telephone are attended to promptly
- Monitor economic trends and competitor’s activities and provide advice to top management
- Champion after-sales support efforts and develop initiatives to improve customer satisfaction scores

- Managing Directors, Chief Engineers and Project Managers of key customers/prospects within the territory.
- Consultants, Specifiers and other professional groups.
- Caterpillar representatives and UNATRAC/MANTRAC Group Officials.
- All levels of MNL
Job Requirements
- University Degree or its equivalent in any discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience, E-commerce experience desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details, ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Good Leadership and conflict management skills.
- Strong team player and ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
- Good listening and analytical skills
