Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients and project managers to understand their needs and aspirations, transforming them into compelling video content for various platforms.
- Dive deep into editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, and others to produce high-quality videos tailored to our target audience.
- Infuse every project with creativity and innovation, ensuring seamless integration of graphics, animations, music, and other visual elements.
- Craft engaging videos for cooking tutorials, coaching sessions, website promotions, and other content categories, adhering to CareerElevatePro’s branding and messaging guidelines.
- Optimize video content for different platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, to maximize audience engagement and reach.
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance testing to ensure flawless functionality and pixel-perfect design.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing, social media, and digital marketing to continuously elevate our video content strategy.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively, juggling multiple projects with finesse and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality video content.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior editors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a dazzling portfolio showcasing editing skills and creative projects.
- Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, and other editing software, with a focus on producing compelling video content.
- Experience editing videos for cooking tutorials, coaching sessions, website promotions, and other content categories.
- Strong understanding of video production techniques, storytelling, and visual communication principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to delivering excellence in every project.
- Stellar communication and collaboration skills – you’re a true team player.
- Minimum 2- 5 years of experience in video editing – you’re a seasoned pro.
- Proficiency in integrating third-party systems such as invoicing and payment systems.

Additional Information:
This is not a freelance opportunity but a full-time position requiring 45 hours a week commitment.
Our compensation package for this role is slightly above the country’s minimum wage and is designed to be fair and competitive within the industry. Additionally, it includes a performance-based component, where the salary is subject to meeting a set number of designs produced monthly as a target.
